The aroma reveals notes of blackcurrants, cherries, and blueberries, complemented by subtle spicy and herbal nuances typical of Cabernet Franc. Merlot brings roundness and soft fruitiness, while Cabernet Sauvignon adds a firm structure and fine tannins to the wine. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with juicy fruitiness, elegant acidity, and a long finish where notes of forest fruits, spice, and a touch of cocoa intertwine.
Winemaker's Diary
We harvested gradually, focusing on the optimal ripeness of each variety. Merlot was first, full of juicy fruit, followed by Cabernet Franc with beautiful aromatics, and finally Cabernet Sauvignon, which brought tannin and backbone to the entire cuvée. Each variety fermented separately to preserve its own character. After fermentation, we let the wines rest and then blended them into the final cuvée. The result immediately convinced us – elegance, harmony, and freshness of the 2023 vintage.
