Charentaise Païsan x Rivalin
Origine is the result of a collaboration between PAïSAN and Rivalin. This collaboration embodies a return to essentials, using local materials and valuing artisanal know-how.
Inspired by the history of the first charentaises, the Origine model is made from scraps of wool fabric used for the uniforms of the French Navy. These charentaises, once called “Silencieuses,” are designed with a minimalist approach: one sole, wool fabric, and nothing but thread to sew them. Together, PAïSAN and Rivalin advocate for local materials and celebrate the artisans who transform them with passion. Made in our workshop in Quimper, the Charentaise Origine is more than just a slipper; it embodies the Breton cultural heritage while addressing current ecological challenges. DPD France delivers within 24–48 hours in mainland France (up to 72 hours for certain areas such as Corsica). You can choose home delivery or a collection point from among nearly 10,000 Pickup points and 60 DPD agencies in France. With the Predict service, you benefit from a 3-hour time slot, SMS/email notifications, and the ability to change the delivery date, address, or location. If you are absent, the package is left at a collection point and remains there for 9 days.
