France Haliotis is run by a team passionate about aquaculture and marine ecology. They are a Quality Artisan Producer and member of the Collège Culinaire de France, recognised for the quality of their products. They are committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly aquaculture.
Their products: abalone is a shellfish that is emblematic of the northern coast of Brittany. Their farmed abalone are smaller, more tender, and easier to cook than wild abalone. They are available for sale year-round: live, vacuum-packed, or in artisanal gourmet preserves.
Since 2018, France Haliotis has also been cultivating seaweed on lines at sea and in specially designed tanks that are partly powered by solar energy.
They cultivate only local species from northern Finistère and pay particular attention to their cultivation in order to produce seaweed of exceptional quality.
All seaweed is certified organic by Ecocert.
