The lipid extract of calendula flower has anti-inflammatory properties, promotes skin regeneration and epithelialization. Zinc oxide acts astringently and anti-inflammatorily on the skin. Lanolin, a natural emollient and occlusive agent, contains cholesterol - an essential component of epidermal lipids and is very effective in treating dry, extremely dry skin and skin prone to eczema. Jojoba oil is a wax by its chemical composition and is similar to human sebum, containing fatty acids: oleic, linoleic, linolenic, and arachidonic. Shea butter is a natural fat obtained from the fruit of the shea tree. The main components are oleic and stearic acid, which act as emollients and are used in products for the care of atopic skin, scars, and stretch marks. D-alpha-tocopherol is a natural antioxidant that protects the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals and has a regenerative effect on dry and damaged skin.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Evening primrose oil and grape seed oil are characterized by a high content of omega-6 fatty acids (linoleic and gamma-linolenic essential fatty acids). It has been proven that omega-6 fatty acids can be incorporated into the structural lipids of the epidermis that depend on linoleic acid after local application. This way, the damaged protective function of the skin is restored.
ACTION: Contains 20% omega-6 fatty acids from evening primrose oil and grape seed oil, which participate in the renewal of the damaged hydrolipid protective barrier of dry and extremely dry skin, as well as skin prone to eczema and dermatitis. It acts as an occlusive preparation, creating a lipid layer that protects the skin from further drying, while simultaneously nourishing, moisturizing, and renewing dry, damaged, and irritated skin.
APPLICATION: Apply the balm to the skin in a thin layer two to three times a day or as needed. The balm is applied to specific areas that are dry or affected by eczema and dermatitis.
