BASQUE KNIFE HANDIA is a Basque knife inspired by Japanese design, born in the Basque Country. A rustic Basque tool knife that could have been used by a Basque shepherd.
It features the tip of the blade from L'HIGONOKAMI, which is a classic in Japanese cutlery.
This is a good-sized pocket knife with a locking mechanism. It has a blade made of raw carbon steel.
The choice of carbon steel for this knife is obvious. It is the perfect marriage between the efficiency of the edge and its very rustic appearance, reminiscent of blades from the past.
The appearance of the blade will evolve over time and with use.
The handle is MADE OF MANECH HORN (SHEEP FROM THE BASQUE COUNTRY)
The total length of the knife is 19cm.
Its blade measures 8cm and 3cm wide.
