How to prepare your homemade rice pudding liqueur?
Rice pudding is one of the most popular desserts in our cuisine. But, how about we give it a novel twist and prepare it as if it were a liqueur? Today we will show you how to do it.
The ingredients:
- 9 dl of milk
- 9 dl of liquid cream
- 100 g of rice
- 300 g of sugar
- 10 tablespoons of cinnamon liqueur or dry pomace
- 1 small cinnamon stick
The preparation:
In a pot over medium heat, combine the milk with the cream, rice, sugar, a small cinnamon stick, and the lemon peel. When it reaches a boil, reduce to low heat. Keep it like this for about 15 minutes. Then add the liqueur and let it boil for a few more minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick and lemon peel. Allow it to cool in the refrigerator. Then, blend the rice with a mixer. Serve the resulting cream in glasses. Garnish with mint leaves and you're done!
Tips and Advice
Also decorate with a little ground cinnamon or pieces of lemon.
