Our Selecta Gran Reserva Chestnut Ham is the result of reviving an ancestral tradition in Galicia: feeding pigs with chestnuts. This method gives the product exceptional organoleptic qualities, elevating it above conventional serrano ham.
The selected breed pigs (such as Duroc) are raised in Galicia and, in their final stage, complement their diet with Galician chestnuts harvested in season. This natural process ensures meat of the highest quality, very marbled, with a sweet touch and an intense aroma.

- Cut: Slice as thin and small as possible. Ideally, use a good ham holder and a sharp knife.
- Pairing: Its sweet touch pairs exceptionally well with Galician white wines (Albariño or Ribeiro) or with cavas. It is also perfect with semi-cured Galician cheeses or honey.
Tip: If the piece has been started, cover the cut area with a clean slice of bacon (without the yellowish fat) from the ham itself. This will prevent it from drying out and maintain its juiciness.
