Its creation dates back to 2004, during the Christmas dinner organized by Salumeria Roscioli in the Vatican, where a cheese cart paraded among the guests before being served with a clock-style presentation. The idea behind it? To surprise diners with a slice that revealed, at 12 o'clock, the colors of the Vatican flag. This mignon version, weighing about 120 g, retains the elegance and complexity of the original recipe, offering a unique tasting experience even in a small format.
