Legendary herbal liqueur from the times of Hašek's Švejk is back!
The original Polish recipe from 1901, composed of anise, fennel, coriander, and cumin, has been supplemented with five additional herbs, resulting in a completely unique taste and aroma that you won't find in any other herbal liqueur. Anise and fennel play the leading roles, making it almost an absinthe-like liqueur.
This entire mixture of herbs was macerated for months in distillate from mead (distilled mead) and then stored in a cellar to mature.
The first batch was established on November 17, 2009, and bottled on December 10, 2010. Since then, Kontušovka has become one of our most popular liqueurs, securing a firm place in our range.
Kontušovka Žufánek is produced through long maceration of herbs; it is not a spirit mixed cold with essential oils, aromatic oils, and essences. Each vintage is slightly different, varying in intensity depending on the strength of the herbs each year. We do not strive for a constant taste and aroma as is the case with mixed postmixes from oils. But it is also thanks to this that Kontušovka has become a legend.

It is the only parcel carrier in the Czech Republic to offer the Predict service – the consignee knows the exact 1-hour delivery window in advance.
