A unique digestive liqueur, whose effectiveness in relation to good digestion has been verified by our great-great-grandmother. The drink is obtained by infusing unripe walnuts with the addition of nine types of spices and herbs, including orange peel, calamus, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
The natural bitterness is complemented by a very subtle sweetness, so with aging, the liqueur acquires a balanced flavor with a spicy-nutty hint.
Like all our other products, the Walnut Liqueur is completely natural and fully depends on the harvest and quality of the walnuts from the given year. Individual vintages may vary in the intensity of nut flavor and aroma. It is not a consistently flavored syrupy postmix, but a genuine walnut liqueur of homemade quality.
