ACTION AND APPLICATION: For external use, it is used for mild, superficial skin inflammations. In folk medicine, the plant is used for liver diseases and for the care of wounds and scars. It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and for children under 12 years old.
PREPARATION: For preparing tea or a gargling solution: pour 1.5 g (1.5 teaspoons) of crushed herb with 150 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, let it steep covered for 10 - 15 minutes, and then strain. Drink one cup 2-4 times a day of this prepared tea. The daily dose is: 3-6 g. For external use, to prepare compresses, pour 10 g of the herb with 100 ml of cold water, boil for 5 minutes, and then strain.
