FOZET is the color of old gold. The aroma is honey-fruity, with gentle warm notes that herald a rich and balanced taste.
In the mouth, a sweet-bitter character develops with a lovely honey-fruity aftertaste. The strength of the alcohol is softly connected with the sweetness and bitterness of the honey, so it does not stand out aggressively, but creates a pleasant warmth that lingers long after a sip.
FOZET is created for slow enjoyment — as a modern honey liqueur that respects tradition, natural ingredients, and the culture of tasting.
Kranjska Lavender
The bee that represents our FOZET is the Kranjska lavender — a symbol of Slovenia, nature, and dedicated work.
For 1 liter of FOZET, the Kranjska bee must fly over 16,000 kilometers and visit approximately 12 million flowers.
Honey
For the production of FOZET, we use Slovenian honey in a precisely defined natural ratio of linden and chestnut. This ratio can only be obtained for a short part of the year due to natural conditions.
Our honey contains extremely little residual artificial sugar, allowing for a clean, natural, and rich taste without unnecessary sharpness.
Spirit
The base of the liqueur is natural spirit with at least 70% apple, which, due to its neutrality, allows the honey to remain in the foreground. The remainder is complemented by pear and plum, which add additional aroma and depth.
In one liter of FOZET, we find approximately 4 kilograms of apples.
Production
The honey is carefully prepared for blending with the selected spirit at a precisely defined temperature, using a special, carefully guarded technique.
Once we achieve perfect harmony of the ingredients, the mixture is gradually subjected to a natural controlled drop in temperature, allowing for two weeks of maturation in optimal conditions.
After this phase, using a special technique, without filtration, we obtain a crystal clear golden liqueur with a rich texture, elegant character, and pronounced depth of flavor.
