Chicken Fillets with Honey-Apple Sauce
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken fillets (approximately 600 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 30 ml Butul Estate olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 60 ml apple cider
- 30 g pomegranate honey
- 15 g mustard
- 5 g chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
2. In a large skillet, heat Butul Estate olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken fillets and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
3. In the same skillet, add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
4. Add the apple cider to the skillet and stir with a spoon to scrape the brown bits from the bottom.
5. In a small bowl, mix the pomegranate honey, mustard, and chopped rosemary. Add this mixture to the skillet with the cider and garlic, stirring until the sauce thickens.
6. Return the chicken fillets to the skillet and pour the sauce over them. Cook for a few more minutes to heat the fillets through and coat the meat well with the sauce.
7. Serve the chicken fillets on plates, drizzled with the remaining sauce from the skillet, and garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately and enjoy the taste of delicious chicken with honey-apple sauce!
