Cooperativa del Campo San Pedro

The "Cooperativa del Campo San Pedro" was founded in 1965 by 137 initial members.

The initial objective was the marketing of table grapes (the star product of the time).

Changing market demand required a greater variety and diversification of our offering, which meant integrating olive trees into our production and, with it, installing an olive mill to receive the olives from our cooperative members and subsequently market the premium oil obtained from our production. We have grown to more than 1,100 members in the towns of Guareña, Oliva de Mérida, Manchita, Cristina, Valdetorres, Villagonzalo, Don Benito, Villanueva de la Serena, San Pedro de Mérida, Don Álvaro, and La Garrovilla. From the initial 137 members at the beginning of this journey in 1965, we can now say that we have increased our human capital tenfold.
