Singular Competition Terms and Conditions
Organiser
The organiser of this competition is Geopost SA - a French limited company, with share capital of €900,000,000, whose registered office is at 26, rue Guynemer - 92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 340.012.392 (the “Organizing Company”).
Eligibility
This competition is open to all individuals aged 18 or older who are legal residents of the Netherlands.
Employees and Partners of the Organizing Company and its Affiliates, as well as their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible.
For the purposes of these rules:
- “Partners” means any individual or company that provides services to Geopost SA or its Affiliates in connection with the Singular platform.
- “Affiliates” means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Organizing Company.
Participation via third-party sweepstakes services or automated entry software is strictly prohibited. One entry per person and household.
Multiple entries are allowed, as long as each comment tags a different user.
Participation
No purchase is necessary. Participation is free. To enter, participants must:
- Fully accept the Singular Competition T&Cs (these rules).
- Follow @discover.singular on Instagram
- Comment on the giveaway post with their favourite thing about the Netherlands.
- Tag one (1) friend in the same comment.
Entries that do not meet these criteria will not be valid.
Entry Period
The giveaway begins on 1st of December 2025 and ends on 15th of December 2025 at 09:00 CET.
Any participation registered by the Organizing Company after 15th of December at 09:00 CET will be considered invalid.
It is understood that each participant undertakes to reveal correct information about him or herself. The Organizing Company declines all responsibility if a participant uses false names or even usurps the identity of a third party.
Prize Details
One (1) winner will be selected to receive products worth up to €100 (including VAT, excluding shipping) from the Singular platform (the “Prize”).
After being contacted, the winner must provide a list of their chosen products (up to a total value of €100 – including VAT). The Prize is subject to product availability on the Singular platform at the time of ordering. If a selected product is unavailable, the winner will be asked to choose an alternative.
If the total value of the selected items exceeds €100 (including VAT), the winner will be required to adjust their selection so that it does not exceed this amount; the winner cannot pay any price difference.
The Organizing Company will then purchase those products on the winner’s behalf and arrange free delivery to the winner’s address. The winner will provide this address when she/he is contacted by the Organizing Company (address within the Netherlands only).
The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be sold to another person.
The total Prize value will not exceed €100 (including VAT).
Winner Selection
A random prize draw will be held on 16th of December 2025 (the “Winner Selection Date”) at the Organizing Company head office (i.e. 26, rue Guynemer - 92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux, France) from all eligible entries received by the end of the Entry Period.to determine one (1) winner.
The Organising Company will use the impartial platform https://app-sorteos.com/en.
Participants may request a video certificate of the draw. No communication will be sent to non-winning Participants.
The winner will be contacted within 7 days of the Winner Selection Date via Instagram direct message or a comment on the original post.
The winner will then have 7 days from the direct message or the original post date to provide to the Organizing Company with:
- a list of their chosen products (up to a total value of €100 including VAT),
- one shipping address in the Netherlands for delivery of the product(s),
- a phone number for shipping purposes only.
If no response is received within this timeframe, or if the information provided is incomplete, incorrect, or not compliant with these rules, the winner will be deemed to have declined the Prize.
In such case, the Organizing Company will be entitled to conduct a new draw, in accordance with the procedure described above, in order to designate a new winner.
Exclusion
Participants who violate these terms, attempt to manipulate the entry process, or engage in fraudulent or disruptive activities may be disqualified at the discretion of the Organizing Company.
Consent for Publicity
By entering, participants grant the Organizing Company the right to use their name and Instagram handle for promotional purposes on its social media channels without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Participants may withdraw this consent at any time by written notice to the Organizing Company.
Data Protection
Data will be managed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By commenting on the on the giveaway post from @discover.singular you consent to the processing of your personal data (e.g., name, Instagram username) solely for the purposes of administering the Competetion and selecting a winner.
The legal basis for this processing is your voluntary participation in the Competition.
Your data will be kept only as long as necessary to complete the purposes of administering the Competetion and selecting a winner and no longer than the end of the contest plus any legally required retention period.
Your data will not be used for any other purposes beyond this Competition. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting dpo@geopost.com. You may also withdraw your consent, and lodging such a request will not affect your contest participation.
Liability and Governing Law
The Organizing Company is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or other issues that may affect participation.
These rules are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your habitual residence.
The parties will first seek to resolve any dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of these Rules amicably. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France, or the courts of the consumer’s place of residence, as applicable.
If, for reasons beyond its control (including where incorrect information provided by the winner prevents successful delivery), the Organising Company cannot deliver the announced Prize, no cash or other financial equivalent will be provided, and the Organising Company will not be liable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizing Company is not liable for any loss caused by errors, tampering, unauthorized interference, or other issues affecting the winner selection process, or for any loss, theft, misdirection, delay, or damage of the Prize while handled by postal or courier services.
The Organizing Company shall likewise not be held liable for any damage, direct or indirect, material or immaterial, caused to participants, their computer equipment and the data stored therein, or for any direct or indirect consequences that may result therefrom.
Right to Modify or Cancel
The Organizing Company reserves the right to modify these terms or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances, suspected fraud, or any other reason it deems necessary.
No compensation may be claimed by the participants of the Singular Competition.
Promotional Game of Chance Statement
This giveaway qualifies as a promotional game of chance. Participation is free, and the Organizing Company organises a maximum of four promotional games of chance per calendar year.
