The Chabichou du Poitou AOP is a French artisanal cheese made from raw goat's milk. It is produced in the Poitou-Charentes region, located in the west of France. This cheese is appreciated for its firm and slightly creamy texture and its sweet and delicate aromas. The production of Chabichou du Poitou begins with the collection of raw goat's milk, which coagulates through the action of acidification and a small dose of rennet. Once curdled, it is then molded into a truncated cone shape and aged for a period of 10 to 20 days. This cheese is often served with dry white wines or fruity accompaniments to highlight its delicate flavors.
Chronofresh collects dry, fresh and frozen food products from e-merchants at their production sites and delivers them within 24 to 48 hours throughout France. Goods are transported at room temperature or under controlled temperatures (0-4°C or -18°C) in strict compliance with the cold chain.
