LITOMĚŘICE ham is made from selected pork loin with a layer of fat and is aged for several months. This strong and mature ham is more of an evening affair when paired with woody wine, and your taste buds will literally melt if you use it as a salty dessert after the main course.
The more mature it is, the tastier it becomes, and the entire production process takes several months. This dried pork loin is very popular for arranging platters, catering buffets, and tasting canapés.
The ham is vacuum packed. After unpacking, store the ham in a cool environment, preferably hanging where there is a slight airflow.
