Subsequently, the mass is pressed to compact the pieces, resulting in that characteristic shape and soft and easy-to-cut texture that distinguishes them from fried cracklings.

- Filling for Empanadas: They are the fundamental ingredient of the Roxóns Empanada. Simply sauté the chopped chicharrones with onion and pepper for an unforgettable traditional filling.

- Presentation: Cooked and pressed product, ready for consumption. It is shipped vacuum packed.
- Storage: Once received, keep the chicharrones in a cool and dry place (a pantry) or in the refrigerator (where they will maintain their compact shape).
- Shelf Life: Once the package is opened, it is recommended to store the leftovers in a closed container in the fridge and consume within 15 days. They can also be frozen, although it is better to give them a heat boost in a pan after thawing to recover some of their texture.
