BASQUE KNIFE MINI HANDIA is a Basque knife inspired by Japanese design, born in the Basque Country. A rustic Basque tool knife that could have been used by a Basque shepherd.
It features the tip of the blade from L'HIGONOKAMI, which is a classic in Japanese cutlery.
This is a good-sized pocket knife with a locking mechanism. It has a blade made of raw carbon steel.
The choice of carbon steel for this MINI HANDIA knife is obvious.
It is the perfect marriage between the efficiency of the edge and its very rustic appearance like the blades of yesteryear.
The appearance of the blade will evolve over time and with use.
The handle is dressed in the Basque fabric PANTXIKA from LARTIGUE 1910 embedded in resin.
If you wish, it is possible to inlay a silver medal representing a Basque cross in relief made by the Basque jeweler RODON from Biarritz.
The total length of the knife is 16.5 cm.
Its blade measures 7 cm and 2.5 cm wide.
