The lacon rests for the necessary time for the flavors to integrate, making the meat aromatic and tasty. Additionally, we make diamond-shaped cuts in the skin, which brown and crisp spectacularly when baked.

🔥 How to Bake Your Marinated Lacon
Recommended Method (the juiciest)
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C
- Bake for 3 hours
- Increase to 200–220 °C and broil for 20 minutes to brown the skin
This method respects the marinade and keeps the meat tender and juicy.
Traditional Method (for a more done point)
Classic rule: 1 hour per kilo at 180 °C.
For a lacon of 4.5 kg, it would be 4–4.5 hours, depending on the desired doneness.
Tip: Let the piece rest for 10–15 minutes before cutting to retain all its juices.
