At the World Cheese Awards 2022, Quesos El Bosqueño became the Spanish cheese factory that received the most awards with a total of 13 awarded cheeses: 1 super gold, 3 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze. Become one of the judges of the competition and taste our highest-rated cheeses. In this edition held in Wales, more than 4,400 cheeses from 45 countries participated.
The Super Gold award was achieved by our new goat cheese cured in amontillado wine. This award is given to the best cheeses in each category.
Accompanying this masterpiece are our three gold medal-winning cheeses: sheep cheese in Iberian lard, mixed cheese in aromatic spices, and aged sheep cheese.
All cheeses, except for the aged one, have a maturation period of 4 to 6 months, while the aged cheese has a curing period of over 12 months. All made with goat and sheep milk from the Sierra de Grazalema.
