Rocamadour is a small goat cheese made from raw milk, emblematic of the Lot region and the Gramat causse. It is presented in the form of a round disc, with a fine and natural rind, ivory in color. Its melting and creamy paste reveals delicate aromas of fresh cream, hazelnut, and dry hay. This cheese has an AOP designation. It can be enjoyed very fresh or slightly aged, depending on preferences. Rocamadour is ideal as an appetizer, in salads, or at the end of a meal, and pairs well with a dry white wine from the Southwest, such as a Côtes du Lot or a Bergerac.
